Kaspersky Labs, a leading expert in data security software development is pleased to announce the appointment of Winfried Mueller as the new Marketing Director.
Mr. Mueller joins the executive team, where his most important task is to provide comprehensive marketing support for the global development, promotion and sales of the Kaspersky Labs product portfolio. He will be supervising all Kaspersky Labs marketing activities including product marketing and marketing communications.
Mr. Mueller has over 15 years of extensive experience in marketing management positions in major IT industry players such as Mannessmann, Digital Equipment, Data General, Symbol Technologies and others. During his career, Mr. Mueller has introduced new product lines, successfully developed and implemented strategic plans for increasing market share, introduced innovative technologies for pricing strategies, to name but a few of his accomplishments.
Most recently, Mueller was the Director of Corporate Business Development at Symbol Technologies where he significantly increased yearly operations profits during the three years he was with the company.
Winfried Mueller has also continued his formal education having received degrees in applied physics and business administration. He is active in the Rotary Club, an international business club, and the service management association AFSMI. He is fluent in German and English and is currently studying Russian.
