Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Microsoft ISA Server 5.0 monitors files exchanged via HTTP or FTP that pass through the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration firewall. The solution serves as an anti-virus filter, scanning incoming and outgoing traffic for all types of malicious code. If infected objects are detected, the product blocks further transfer, preventing virus penetration into the local network.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Microsoft ISA Server provides a wide range of functions. The user-friendly interface is fully integrated with the ISA Microsoft Management Console. System administrators can set schedules for automatic anti-virus updates via the Internet or download updates manually.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus has many additional advantages for system administrators. For instance, administrators can set parameters for anti-virus scanning and can create user groups based on need-defined criteria. In order to maximize efficient anti-virus protection, administrators can also establish secure servers, as well as lists of user groups based on types of objects exchanged. This results in increased efficiency since no virus scanning is necessary once servers and user groups are confirmed to be secure.
