Cambridge, UK, December 8, 1999 - Kaspersky Lab Int., an international anti-virus software vendor, announces the release of it's flagship anti-virus product AntiViral Toolkit Pro (AVP) for BSDi Unix operating system.

AVP for BSDi package includes two main operating components: an on-demand anti-virus scanner, which can be run directly by a system administrator or with help of a third-party scheduler and AVP Daemon, a sort of anti-virus scanner with optimised loading method oriented for operating on WEB servers, mail gateways and firewalls. AVP Daemon can also be used for integration with various products of other software vendors.
AVP for BSDi is powered by the same anti-virus engine and uses the same anti-virus database (being updated on a weekly basis) as other AVP family products. The package includes round-the-clock technical support by e-mail and telephone.
